HEDLA X Special Issue of HEDP

Submission deadline extended to the 4th of August 2014.

The authors of invited and contributed orals, and the authors of posters are encouraged to submit a paper for publication in the HEDLA X Special Issue of the journal High Energy Density Physics. The articles will be subject to the usual refereeing process of the journal.

Submissions of papers for the HEDLA X Special Issue of the journal High Energy Density Physics opens on the 21st of June 2014 and closes on the 4th of August 2014. Manuscripts must be submitted on-line at the address http://ees.elsevier.com/hedp/admin/default.asp using the standard HEDP journal procedure.

The minimum number of pages for all papers is 4 pages. There is no maximum, but if you are planning to write a long article (> 15 pages) please contact me first (andrea.ciardi@obspm.fr). The target number of pages is approximately 6 - 7 pages per paper. Open access is possible for a fee.
Important information about the submission process. When submitting a manuscript, please note the following:
1) In the step "Select Article Type" authors must select "SI: HEDLA X" from the drop-down list. This will ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into the special issue.
2) In the step "Request Editor", authors must select "Steven Rose, Editor" from the drop-down list.

Publishing. Note that accepted papers will be published immediately. However, as for all regular manuscripts, it takes at least 4 weeks for a final typeset article to be published in ScienceDirect. Additionally, all papers submitted by the 4th of August 2014 will be included in the HEDLA X Special Issue of High Energy Density Physics to be published mid-2015. All conference participants will receive a hard-bound copy of this Special Issue.

Refereeing. Some of the attendees of the conference will be asked to referee one of the papers. The success of the proceedings depends upon referees agreeing to participate, so please say yes if asked. External (to the conference) referees may also be used.

Submission closes: 4th of August 2014
Only papers submitted by 4th of August 2014 will be included in the HEDLA X Special Issue of High Energy Density Physics.
